چکیده
Natural gas hydrate represents one of the most promising solutions to answer constantly increasing energy demand; in addition, possibility recover methane via carbon dioxide injection, with a theoretical exchange ratio equal 1, makes it potential neutral source. Among them, energetical costs associated practical operations marine deposits. The use chemical inhibitors and or promoters improve process is gaining interest researchers are mainly focused on finding less environmental unfriendly additives reducing their costs. In that direction, present work deals possible waste dust, produced during steel mill processes, as promoter CO2/CH4 replacement process. That sand commonly contains great variety compounds, such metal oxides, alumina, salts, so on. Some them have composition close well-known inhibitors/promoters. Moreover, application could be further energetic cycle for product. this work, both formation were tested absence presence cupper different concentrations. Hydrate dissociation results where then compared among each other equilibrium values those compounds.

متن کاملMethane Production from Gas Hydrate Deposits through Injection of Supercritical CO2
The recovery of natural gas from CH4-hydrate deposits in sub-marine and sub-permafrost environments through injection of CO2 is considered a suitable strategy towards emission-neutral energy production. This study shows that the injection of hot, supercritical CO2 is particularly promising. The addition of heat triggers the dissociation of CH4-hydrate while the CO2, once thermally equilibrated,...
